Renee Hollis have self-published nine photographic books and is from Nelson, New Zealand. Renee is passionate about photography, travel and helping children in need.   In 2012 she taught at in international school in Botswana, Africa. During this time Renee started an international photographic competition celebrating African children. In 2013 Renee returned to New Zealand and began to work on a National photographic competition celebrating the uniqueness of New Zealanders; called: Call me Kiwi as well as teaching 5 year olds.

D'Arcy Publishing

D'Arcy Publishing started in 2013 after Renee Hollis had published 7 books independently. She wanted to create a brand to publish her photographic books and other genres of books in the future.

 

Where did the name come from?

Renee grew up in D'Arcy Street and this is a place where her dreams started. She is also a fan of D'Arcy from Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice.
